Intro to the Project

Monjo AI was an AI-powered “tools for teachers” project

Services/features included:
- Chatbot with branching conversation history
- Response personalization by grade-level and subject matter
- Pre-built task templates for grading papers, writing exit tickets, etc.
- RAG using a corpus of K-12 textbooks
- Google Drive integration for text documents, pdfs, etc.

Why EdTech?

Not a good business, so why work on it?
- but very important (Ray Dalio - educaiton as foundation of a nation and the US is struggling!)
- and the Why Now is the best ever (Karpathy left OpenAI and Tesla for EdTech)
- super fun. first big, full-stack thing Kyle and I built together.
